Asociaţia INHOPE a fost creată in 1999 în scopul susţinerii şi facilitării cooperării între operatorii europeni de Hotline-uri. Pe măsură ce ţări din afara Europei au început să i se alature, INHOPE se dezvoltă acum ca reţea internaţională.
